APPROACH

I decided to illustrate the scene from the main character's eyes, the young Scout, Atticus's daughter, in the company of her older brother and their best friend, as it happens in the novel. This illustration is a glimpse of the life in Maycomb portrayed from Scout's point of view and at the same time from the reader's point of view. The style used would simulate the engraving technique. Only a stroke so decisive can symbolize an intense story like that.
